A.T. SISK Funeral Service
Alvin Thomas “A.T.” Sisk, 77, of Kings Mountain, passed away October 10, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born April 30, 1945, in Cleveland County, son of the late Lillian Melton Collins. A.T. was a longtime member of Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, where he served for many years as a custodian and sound technician. He retired from the US Navy in 1985 and had served several years in the US Army as well. He was a devoted and dedicated veteran for his country. He loved visiting Pigeon Forge and he was a huge Elvis fan. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Love Valley Baptist Church 2032 Bethlehem Road, Kings Mountain, officiated by Pastor Barry Philbeck. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Cleveland Memorial Park in Shelby with military honors provided by the US Navy. A.T. is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Sisk; father, Buddy Collins (Joyce); daughters, Angelene Hanzely (Justin), Amber Hughes (Caleb); grandchildren, Autumn Peterson, Railey Hughes, Kye Hughes, Parker Hughes. In addition to his mother, A.T. was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Sisk; sister, Margaret Collins.
